Installation Recommendations

The grommets provide for an easy installation using commercially available hanging supports.
Arrange acoustic baffles in the desired pattern above the area to be treated. The baffles can be hung at any height.
For existing roof decking and bar joist installations, a tie-wire or chain is recommended to suspend through the baffle grommets and onto the support cable or the anchor eye-bolts.
For ceiling grid installations, a tie-wire or chain is recommended to suspend through the baffle grommets and secure onto a hook or angle clip.
Do not over-tighten or place excessive force on grommets when installing.

In my office, there is a ceiling vent for the air heat/conditioning, where the main blower is on the roof right above, and all that heat pours out into my desk area, leaving my space filled with roaring fan noise and 80 degrees temp. One baffle hanging in front of that vent has reduced the noise considerably (it doesn't bother my concentration anymore) and seems to block/push the air the other way reducing temp a little. -B.
