Improve the acoustics in your space with our Natural Acoustic Panels. Our Acoustic Panels are:
- Green - Made with eco-C-tex absorption material, a blend of cotton and cellulose - the greenest alternative to traditional fiberglass and foam. By converting recycled paper into cellulose fibers used in eco-C-tex, the paper is kept out of landfills where it has the potential to pollute the environment. Because eco-C-tex material is completely recyclable, no scrap is produced during production of the product. The eco-C-tex manufacturing process uses 1/10 of the energy than fiberglass insulation, and 1/40 of the energy than foam insulation. Learn more about Eco-C-Tex
- Effective - Highly effective NRC of 1.00. Audimute Panels outperform the competition. Compare Us!
- Safe - Meet your acoustic needs with a safe alternative to fiberglass. Audimute Panels do not contain fiberglass, a material that can irritate skin, eyes, throat, and lungs. Audimute Acoustic Panels do not require a warning label like fiberglass products.
- Handcrafted - High quality design and workmanship. Assembled by hand in the USA.
The perfect choice wherever sound needs to be improved and/or controlled. The applications are unlimited:

Acoustic Panel Installation Instructions:
Audimute Panel Clips are an effective and affordable way to hang panels with minimal damage to the wall. Installation is quick and simple. The use of Audimute Panel Clips cuts panel installation time/cost by 50%.
- A single panel clip is approximately 2" wide, 1 3/8" tall, with a 3/8" lift-off. Each panel clip weighs 1 oz.
- We recommend using ONE panel clip for all standard sized vertical panel installations & TWO panel clips for 2'x3 'and 2'x4' horizontal panel installations.
Panel Construction
Audimute Acoustic Panels are the perfect solution for reverberant noise. Adding acoustical panels to the room will reduce reflected sound thereby dampening the echo and reverberation, creating an appropriate acoustic environment. Audimute acoustic sound panels offer excellent acoustic absorption properties. Panels are edge framed from lightweight metal and hand assembled from start to finish. Effective use of eco-C-tex sound absorbing technology will substantially reduce volume levels and improve the acoustics of any space.

eco-C-tex Absorption Material:
- The GREENEST acoustic material in today's marketplace
- Composed of a blend of recycled cotton and cellulose fibers (the majority of which is post-consumer recycled newspaper!)
- A better alternative to traditional fiberglass & synthetic acoustic panels
- By converting recycled paper into cellulose fibers used in eco-C-tex, the paper is kept out of landfills where it has the potential to pollute the environment. Because eco-C-tex material is completely recyclable, no scrap is produced during production of the product. The eco-C-tex manufacturing process uses 1/10 of the energy than fiberglass insulation, and 1/40 of the energy than foam insulation.

The NRC rating is an average of how absorptive a material is at six of the most common frequencies (125, 250, 500, 1000, 2000 and 4000 Hz). This industry standard ranges from zero (perfectly reflective) to 1* (perfectly absorptive). It is always expressed as a decimal rounded to the nearest 5%.

Digital Printing Information:
The facing of the panel is 100% polyester. Choose from our stock images or supply your own logo, photo or image (high resolution approximately 300DPI required). The quality of the print will depend on the quality of the image supplied. The image is wrapped around the panel and fixed to the back to create a nice finish. Please provide your files in the form of CD-ROM (jpeg, tiff or psd file) along with a hard print of the design or section of the design.
Reproduction Suitability:
Not all images are appropriate for large format digital printing. Please consider the following when choosing photographs: Photographs should be sized proportionately to the finished dimensions of the panel. If your dimensions are wider than they are tall, then your photograph should have the same proportion. Images should be cropped if needed. Photographs should be in focus. Our graphics department will review all artwork submitted for reproduction to determine if it is appropriate in quality, clarity and size for the project.
Legal Considerations:
You must have legal rights for use on any images submitted for reproduction. All custom sales are final.
Installation and Care:
The surface of the panel can be dusted or lightly vacuumed like drapery to remove surface dust. You may also use a lint brush or roller for light dusting. (Mounting hardware is available at an additional charge)
Delivery Times:
Orders typically ship within one week from date of order depending on order size.

Recommended coverage of your space varies, based on your room size, room construction, sound source and more.
It's always best to call an Audimute acoustical expert (866-505-MUTE) before purchasing Acoustic Panels to ensure you will achieve your desired results. When purchasing Acoustic Panels for your space,
we typically recommend around 25% coverage to maximize the effectiveness of the absorption product. Applications like
vocal booths or studios may require more than 25% coverage - more general applications (with lower decibel levels or higher frequency noise) may achieve satisfactory results with less than 25% coverage. Again, please give us a call to determine the ideal level of absorption for your space!
Calculation to figure out how many panels you'll need:(Room Length x Room Width x % desired coverage)/ Acoustic Panel sq. ft.
Example: 10'x10' Room - (10x10x.25)/8 = 3.125 = Need (3) 2x4 Panels
10'x10' Room - (10x10x.25)/4 = 6.25 = Need (6) 2x2 Panels
This will give you the number of Acoustic Panels you'll need to achieve your desired results based on the degree of coverage you choose. Play around with the coverage to see how you can achieve the best results while staying within your budget.

GO GREEN with Audimute - the smarter sound control solution! Not only do Audimute Panels offer outstanding acoustic performance, but they also
feature eco-C-tex, the GREENEST sound absorption technology in today's marketplace! eco-C-tex blends natural cotton and renewable cellulose fibers (the majority of which is post-consumer recycled newspaper!) in a process that produces ZERO landfill waste and requires 1/10 of the energy to produce compared to traditional fiberglass.
So why choose man-made fiberglass, dubbed as the next asbestos by many? Exposure to airborne fiberglass particles or direct contact with the product can cause skin, eye, nose and throat irritation and itching. Coughing is also a reaction to inhaled fibers. What’s more, fiberglass is considered to be a probable carcinogen by National Institutes of Health.
Fiberglass product packages display cancer warning labels unlike cotton panels that do not require this warning. These labels are required by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) based on determinations made by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and the National Toxicology Program (NTP).

Every sound absorption product has an NRC rating – the higher the NRC rating, the more effective the product. To determine NRC ratings, absorption products must be tested in a lab across 18 of the most common frequencies. When comparing absorption products, be sure to look for an official sound lab report to verify that the product has been properly tested for NRC.
Below is the official sound lab report for Audimute Acoustic Panels. Audimute Acoustic Panels were independently tested by Riverbank Acoustical Laboratory.
Customer Reviews

I play the bagpipes in the United States top competitive pipe band, and live in a major city. With a small apartment, it's difficult to practice without aggravating the neighbors. I used Audimute Acoustic Panels to help deaden the sound in my practice room, and found them to be extremely effective. These acoustic panels noticeably reduce the echo chamber effect in my practice room, making it a better practice space. Thanks, Thomas
