Terms of Participation
Audimute's 60 Second Holiday Video Challenge and Contest is open to anyone (18+) who has used one or more Audimute product(s) (with the exception of batteries). All eligible entries must include at least one product. Previous contest winners are welcome to submit videos, but are not eligible for prizes.
Three (3) winners will be chosen from among all eligible entries. One (1) winner will be chosen in each category: most creative, most popular, and best demonstration of Audimute product(s). Each winner will receive $75 cash (or $150 in Audimute product), payable by check.
Winning entries will be highlighted on the Audimute website with the winner's name, short bio, and website address (if desired). Audimute may ask winners for a short written description of their experience with Audimute products.
HOW WINNERS WILL BE DETERMINED
Any person is eligible to vote one (1) time during the contest for their favorite video. The video with the most votes will win the "most popular" category. A vote among Audimute employees will determine winners of the most creative and best application prizes.
HOW TO ENTER
- Complete the online entry form on our Audimute Facebook page or use our Entry Form.
- Upload your video to our Facebook Wall or YouTube using required Title, Tags, and Description. Entries received via mail, fax, courier or personal delivery will not be accepted.
Requirements for Videos
1. In 60 seconds, perform part of your favorite holiday song and/or offer a season's greeting while demonstrating at least one positive effect of Audimute product in your studio, practice space, home theater, or any other place you use (or could use) Audimute products.
2. Refer to Audimute or display the Audimute name in your video at least once.
3. Post your video on YouTube with required Title, Tags, and Description (see instructions below for YouTube uploads) or upload your video to our Wall on Facebook.
4. Entries due by January 1st, 2010. Voting for contest ends January 10th, 2011.
YouTube upload instructions:
• Upload your video to YouTube, following YouTube’s rules for uploading a video.
• Use these required Title, Tags, and Description -
-- Title: Audimute - Category Title - Unique Identifier For Your Project (i.e. Audimute - Rock On! - Mitch's 60 Second Jingle)
-- Tags: Audimute, Soundproofing. Add name of product demonstrated in your video (i.e. Audimute, Soundproofing, Peacemaker)
-- Description: Describe your project and entry
The Fine Print
- Submit as many videos as you like, but only one winning prize will be awarded per household. (Entries of more than one person i.e. bands, teams, etc. may enter - one person must be designated as the team leader and responsible for all communication with Audimute).
- Audimute retains editorial rights and full ownership of all entries.
- By submitting an entry, entrant agrees to have his/her entry posted on Audimutesoundproofing.com and any Audimute marketing materials & affiliates without any further notice, permission, or compensation.
- Each entrant grants permission to use his/her first name to be posted in connection with the Contest.
- Incomplete, illegible or corrupted entries will be disqualified. Audimute is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, incomplete or misdirected entries. All entries become the property of Audimute and none will be returned.
- Entries must be G-rated, in good taste, violate no laws or civil liberties, and should not encourage any dangerous or irresponsible activity. Audimute reserves the right to make determinations of suitability in its sole and absolute discretion, and to disqualify any entries it determines to be inappropriate for any of the reasons listed above, or for any other reason.
2. GENERAL RULES: Open to contestants who are 18 years of age or older or 13-17 years of age where a parent/or legal guardian enters on behalf of the child. Employees of Audimute and members of their immediate family or persons living in the same household are not eligible. Subject to all applicable federal, state, local, and provincial laws.
3. WINNER SELECTION AND PRIZES: All completed entries that meet our rules and requirements for participation will be eligible. Each winner will receive choice of $75, payable by check. Winners have the option to double winnings in Audimute product. Winners will be notified via e-mail by January 14, 2011. If the winner does not reply within seven (7) days, the prize will be forfeited. In such event, the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner. Gift certificate for value of prize will be provided if Audimute product is chosen. Prizes will be mailed within 10 days of winner notification.
