We at Audimute are a pretty innovative bunch. We’re constantly striving to come up with new and different ways to help customers use our products to solve their sound problems. But sometimes customers surprise us with creativity of their own. One client chose our sound attenuation blankets over a DIY acoustic panel or an acoustic foam panel because of the superior job our sound attenuation blankets do to enhance music. But unlike a DIY acoustic panel or an acoustic foam panel, this customer felt the sound attenuation blankets looked too free-form hanging from the ceiling. He wanted a cleaner look. So instead of changing to another product, he just changed the product itself.
"Originally I just had the Audimute absorption sheets pinned up on the wall, but I wanted a more "finished" look. So I built frames using .125" Masonite as a backer board with .625" rounded wood trim and stapled the blankets to the inside then wrapped with burlap. I trimmed the blankets to custom sizes and then used the excess off cut pieces and created a "bass trap" behind my CD rack."
Our sound attenuation blankets obviously improved the sound quality in his home music studio so much that he opted to stick with us and just adapt our product to suit his needs. Our sound attenuation blankets will prevent bounce, echoes and unwanted noise better than a DIY acoustic panel or acoustic foam panel. A DIY acoustic panel or acoustic foam panel also will not provide the clean, less cluttered effect you get from an Audimute sound attenuation blanket. As customers return to Audimute again and again we’re realizing that despite each different sound attenuation blanket application, it’s the quality that keeps bringing them back.
