October Customer Spotlight: Music Room Soundproofing - Isham
Need for Audimute:
I had to move to a new place and for the first time I'm getting my own real room for music, so I of course needed some music room soundproofing. I was afraid to get a boxy small sounding room full of reverb (my previous was a high ceiling wood walls) so I looked into Audimute. I put 20 audimute long sheets on the walls (double or 3 layers), it was very easy to hang them and the final look of my room looks great !! With music room soundproofing, the sound is now very flat (as we say "dead") and this is what I was looking for. I put also some bass traps in the corner to tune it correctly. Now I hear every little detail of my mixes far better than ever and my performance sounds more real ! Another finding is that I'm not forced to increase the volume to hear better so I guess my neighbors are happy too ;-)
